Emblems & Logotypes

Fiend of Vectorization

Music Television Hungary

@®© is a 10+ year old billboard contest in Hungary which is about different social topics from year-to-year. Although in 2007 choosen subject was 'How to survive in Hungary', but beside it some other categories were also announced, one of them is sponsored by Music Television which has launched its Hungarian channel that summer. Competitors were called to design the very first emblem of the newly started television programme to be unique, but easily recognizable with multiple level of meaning. Well, this was my plan which I've sent in.

Logotype for Dunaújváros

Dunaújváros touristic marketing

Dunaújváros – or formerly Sztálinváros – is the last piece of pure socialist realism architecture in entire Central European region. Local government of the city decided to start a program to widely promote as a travel destination and boost its tourism and cultural life. A tender has been announced to find a proper visual concept to use for marketing communication, and finally my solution was choosed to win. Slogan was given by an other contestant, I have just applied to my logotype.

Ecotech Zrt.

I was requested to participate in a restricted contest to work out some solutions for a newly established company of my college. Main business profile of this organization is to monetarize students' inventions evolved in the college laboratories. Poor briefing contained only two keywords, 'innovation' and 'technology', so not a unique topic was offered. After my logotype was choosen to win by Jury, then the board of decision-makers bought a simple and uniform template from a stock logo store instead mine :(

Career Centre of DUF College

When I held a position 'Creative Media Designer' of my college, with my colleagues we had a continous discussion about how to manage and improve the coherent visual image of an educational institute's brand. Finally we decided to make a test, so Career Centre is the only one department, which has an own logotype to introduce itself for students. I've tried very hard to keep the inherited elements of the parent logotype in a recognizable level and getting not too far from the starting point. Finally this emblem is used for stationery, namecards, advertisements, posters and other marketing materials.

Suburb Records

This is my favourite fiction logotype has ever created. If you imagine Suburb Records as an indie hip-hop label of starter young rappers, then it's expressing several levels of meaning at the same time. Firstly loneliness of a suburban night is the main concept. Road's perspective symbols confidence in the future, its direction, driving outside from main frame, reminds young artists to that one day they will have to leave this label at a point of their musical career in order to sign to a bigger one: EMI, BMG, or Warner – who knows? And finally have you realized the lamp's spotlight and the upside-arrow beside it?
